Bryce Got His First Pair of Shoes! Thanks Papaw Toney!

Bryce received his first package from Papaw Toney. Bryce officially has his first pair of shoes. As you can see they have the appropriate team on them, he will be born with blue (Dallas) and orange (Tennessee) and Red (Nebraska) blood ;-)!! Amy has been feeling very good, we are blessed beyond measure, thank the Lord! I read to Bryce as often as I can, and he usually moves around quite a bit as I read. I love to feel him moving, it is a great joy. Thanks Toney for the shoes, we love them. Thanks for all of your prayers, they are working. We miss everyone back home, and look forward to seeing you in Knoxville this weekend, and Cincy next weekend.

With Love,

Daddy Eric

Lil' Man Coulter's Name is...

...Bryce James Coulter. Eric and I have come to an agreement that we want our lil' man to be named Bryce! We have pondered on this constantly since we found out that he was a boy last Tuesday, the 20th. Of course we tried the secret ballot while everyone was down for Thanksgiving, calling all of our family that wasn't able to make it so they could put votes in, but all that really matters in the end is what Mommy and Daddy like. Thinking back, Bryce was the name we liked coming home from Knoxville this last time. Mom and Aunt Pam did the string test over my wrist and it said it was going to be a BOY...what!?! I thought I was carrying a girl all along! This past week confirmed the string test outcome...so this is the name we're sticking with...Mr. Bryce James Coulter.

Update on Momma & Baby...

We're both doing great! We still haven't decided on a name but hopefully that will come sooner than later. Picking your child's name is a big decision...especially when Mom and Dad don't fully agree on the name for our lil' man. Give us some time...we'll be sure to post it when we decide. When we went to the doctor on 11/20 he weighed 11 oz and was 13 cm long. I'm at 21 weeks as of Friday, 11/30, so I'm over halfway there. It doesn't seem like I should be this far along already.

We're gearing up to get his room ready. Once we find the right bedding we'll start painting to get his little oasis underway!

Growing Baby...Growing Belly!

Here's a pic of my bare belly! As of my last doctor's appointment October 30th, I had gained a whopping 3 lbs. The baby's heart was beating fast and strong. Luckily Eric was able to go with me so he got to hear it too. I felt the baby move for the first time around the first of October. Right now it just feels like bubbles moving around. I can't wait to feel it kick. We go back to the doctor Nov. 20th to find out what it is...19 days and counting!!

Going Home

Eric will be leaving for Knoxville Saturday, 10-13 for the Clayton Home Show at the Convention Center. I'm sure he'll be seeing Mom, Aunt Pam, and Uncle Jim. I'll be heading up there Friday after work. So we'll both be in town the weekend of the 19th. Eric has to work the show Sunday from 9am to 9pm and then we'll be Athens bound again. Every time Eric says he has good news, I hope to hear "they're moving us back to Knoxville"...but it hasn't happened yet. It's just not that time. In all honestly we're doing great here. I've made friends out in the workforce and ate at some really cute restaurants in the Square (downtown). Yummy...

Workin' Momma!

For those of you that have tried contacting me...I'm sure you've figured out that I have a job. Yep! I'm not at home anymore during the day or even the evening. I've been working really late hours to get the workload done. As most of you know the PUBLIC relies on the newspaper, which means our department has daily deadlines. We design the ads that get sold and also layout certain sections of the paper EVERYDAY. I'm hoping we'll get to the point to where we can start getting ahead a little bit and I can make it home a little earlier. After work tonight we headed down to the Cells of Terror. It's a haunted jail that they've fixed up and are charging $15 a head. I was so excited to go, but thought it would be smart to ask if pregnant women could go through and they recommended that I didn't...so we left. It sounded and looked really good. There weren't any little kids there at all, so I guess it would've been really good. I guess I can kiss the haunted houses goodbye this Halloween. That's okay though...I will do anything for this little one. I'll talk to you guys soon!

Getting Settled In...

Eric and I are finally getting settled in. We spent most of the day yesterday unpacking the rest of the boxes inside and today after church we unpacked boxes in the garage. We finally have everything organized so we can park our cars in the garage. Oh, we also had to move our mailbox back from where we had it because people kept hitting it. It wasn't right on the road but I guess it was too close for comfort for the ones that had lost their passenger-side mirror. Eric said, "Since I've moved it, if they hit it now, they've been drinking and messing up their car with our mailbox will be the least of their concerns by the end of the day!"

Tomorrow at 9am I have to be at the local newspaper, The News-Courier, for an interview for their ad designer position. Then I have an appointment with my new doctor in Decatur at 1:30. It's going to be a busy day for me tomorrow. I'll keep you guys posted on what the outcomes are of each.

Me & The DW Girls

After a wild goose chase around Knoxville with John Mashburn we finally got back to the office. My thoughtful friends at DW had gotten together and decided to throw me a going away party / baby shower. I had a great time...thank you so much everyone!

Moving to Alabama

Eric and I will be leaving Tennessee, Monday evening after closing on our house. We are going to miss our family and friends a lot, but we'll be back soon!

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We love you all!
