Stand by Me!

Well, it's happening sooner than we had hoped, but it appears as though we will have an early walker, Bryce has begun to stand unassisted and even taking several steps before losing balance. It won't be long before he is walking.

After 1 month of walking with his Lion and this is what he looks like now when he plays with it.

Almost in a Big Boy Car Seat....

I took Bryce to the doctor today to get his second flu shot. Since this is the first time he's ever gotten the flu shot he has to get two rounds of it for it to be effective. While we were there I had the nurse weigh him because when he reaches 20 lbs. we can put him in a forward facing car seat. He weighed 19 lbs. 14 oz...2 oz. away from moving up to the big boy car seat.

I'm so excited to put him in the forward facing car seat. As alert as he is I know he's going to love watching everywhere we go!! He already watches me and the cars through his mirror I have attached to the back seat. It's set up so that I can see him through my rear-view mirror.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the most important part of the visit...he didn't cry at all when the nurse gave him the shot. Just a little whimper and that was it! This nurse did a lot better than the one at our previous visit!!

Bryce and the Lion

Since he's crawling and pulling up what better way to keep him learning new things than to buy a walking toy. Here's a video of him walking behind his new lion toy. He loves it because it roars but it kind of sounds like it laughs at him when he falls over with it. I'm sure within a few weeks he'll have this conquered!

A Great Visit with Granny & Papaw

Here he is with his Aunt Brooke sitting on the hay. Isn't this a great picture!

Granny and Papaw were in Greeneville, TN, so we took a road trip to see them. I'm so glad they got to see Bryce. He's growing so much, so fast, I just wish we could see them more often.

Playing at the Herrings'

While Mommy and Laura hung out, Bryce played with Mekenzie. He's chewing on his Baby Einstein photo album here...but they do get along really well!

Boo at the Zoo

Papaw Roger wanted to take Bryce to Boo at the Zoo in his lion cub outfit...so here we are! We had a great time and what a great idea. Bryce usually hangs with the crowd but not that night...he's sleeping on Papaw Roger's shoulder!

Bryce Waving Bye-Bye

Bryce and I have been practicing how to wave Bye-Bye. He's also been practicing on his own. He's growing up right before our eyes!

Bryce on the Move

Can you believe he's crawling now...and has been for almost three weeks! Just this past weekend I noticed him pulling up on one of Mom's baskets. He likes to go after the dog toys and this is where we keep them. He'll be walking before we know it.

The Coulters at Oakes Farm Pumpkin Patch

We thought it would be a nice day to take Bryce to the pumpkin patch...and boy did he like looking at the pumpkins. Him and his Dad went looking for the perfect pumpkin and finally found one as you can see. The hay ride to the pumpkin patch was nice too. Can't wait to go back next year!
